The Guard Dog

In the pet shop window there are six puppies – five posh pedigree puppies and one scruffy little mongrel. But he’s a scruffy little mongrel with a big dream – to be a guard dog!

The posh pups laugh at him and wonder how can such a small, scruffy dog could possibly expect to be bought to guard a home. Especially since he has the most horrible, ear-splitting bark they’ve ever heard.
