99 years ago TODAY, on 27th March 1922, Dick was born Ronald Gordon King-Smith in Bitton, Gloucestershire, the first child of Grace and Ronald King-Smith.

In exactly one year’s time, it will be the centenary of Dick’s birth!

To celebrate Dick’s life, his achievements and his many stories (over 130 of which were published), we, Dick’s family, are planning lots of exciting celebrations leading up to the centenary and beyond.

This year, Sweet Cherry Publishing are republishing ten of Dick’s titles, and in the next few years various other publishers will be republishing at least 16 more, making 26 new editions in total!

We also have a very, very special surprise happening next year. Stay tuned for more details!

We are very excited that a new generation of children can discover Dick’s stories.

Sweet Cherry are releasing new editions of the following titles this year:

Daggie Dogfoot / Pigs Might Fly
