Hodgeheg Rescue!

You might be interested to hear of a Hodgeheg-style misadventure that recently took place in Oxfordshire.

Like Max in The Hodgeheg, this little chap got into a bit of bother during his nighttime escapades. While Max famously gets a bump on the head in Dick’s story, this little fellow found himself trapped in a rodent trap by accident!

Mrs. Kate Nobles, who teaches the HIGHLY APPROPRIATELY named ‘Hedgehog Class’ of Years 3 and 4 at Longworth Primary School, was kind enough to tell Dick’s daughter Liz about finding and rescuing the little chap near her home, the day after some thunderstorms.

Thankfully, after a night at the vet and a bath, the lucky fellow was well enough to be re-released.

I wonder what he told his family when he got home?
