Dick King-Smith has used a great many different illustrators to enhance his stories over the years, from Sir Quentin Blake to Mary Rayner, Garry Parsons, Chris Riddell, Mike Terry to Steph Laberis and many, many more.

Each illustrator brings their own unique style and attributes to the stories, including humour, drama and even sadness.

We feel that illustrations have a very important role in children’s books, helping to bring the stories to life. Which of these illustrations do you like best?
