Some of you may remember Dick’s 1983 book The Queen’s Nose, or more likely, you may have seen the 1990’s BBC TV adaptation of the book, which ran for seven series.
Well, lovely chaps Sam and Dan have for some time been running the On The Nose Podcast, which is dedicated to exploring and revisiting the show and reliving their childhoods. They have watched various episodes and discussed them and interviewed some of those involved in the show.
A few months ago, they invited Dick’s daughter Juliet along to their recording studio and asked her some questions about The Queen’s Nose, about her father, his interesting life and his inspirations.
You can listen to that interesting podcast below. If you’re interested in seeing and hearing more from the On The Nose Podcast, here is their website. You can find also find them on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
In addition, you can also watch Episode One and Episode Two of The Queen’s Nose on the Dick King-Smith YouTube Channel.
